ClearStream offers a complete line of Technologies and Process Solutions for Water and Wastewater Treatment designed for Municipal, Industrial, & Mining Applications.
Oil & Gas | Petrochemical
Water treatment is a critical process in the oil and gas and petrochemical industries, whose operations use large amounts of water. Water used in these industries is often contaminated with impurities and chemicals that can be harmful to the environment if not handled properly.
Treating water is important to comply with environmental regulations, reuse water to reduce freshwater withdrawals, and save costs. Additionally, untreated water can lead to fouling, corrosion, and other problems with production equipment, reducing productivity and increasing downtime.
ClearStream offers a complete line of equipment and services for your plant that will improve your plants performance and meet the discharge requirements. Our experience ranges from biological treatment to physical/chemical treatment.
Food & Beverage
Food or beverage processing plants use a significant amount of water throughout their process. From treating raw water intake or pretreatment to wastewater treatment, it is necessary for each plant to have the correct equipment for the different process applications.
ClearStream offers a comprehensive selection of wastewater equipment and technologies that solve the challenges that fats, proteins, and carbohydrates pose to the food and beverage industry. If your process requires pretreatment, ClearStream has the expertise and treatment technologies to meet and exceed your compliance standards.
Steel
Steel plants use a large amount of water for a variety of usage which includes cooling, dust suppression, cleaning, temperature control (heat treatment), transport of waste materials (ash, sludge, and scale etc.), and other usages.
Use of large amount of water also generate huge quantity of wastewater which may contain suspended solids and many dissolved substances and chemicals. The quality of waste water depends on the process where the water is used and for the purpose for which it is used.
ClearStream can help steel plants achieve their water goals through our water and wastewater treatment solutions.
Pulp & Paper
The paper and pulp industry is among the largest industrial users of water resources operating across the world. At least 80% of process wastewater from paper making operations include suspended solids, chemical oxygen demand (COD), trace heavy metals, biological oxygen demand (BOD) among others.
Common treatment technologies include primary treatment for removal of larger suspended solids and particles, followed by coagulation and flocculation. Additionally, biological treatment has been used along with tertiary treatment.

Chemical
Water treatment is a critical process in the chemical industry whose operations use large amounts of water. Water used in this industry is often contaminated with impurities and chemicals that can be harmful to the environment if not handled properly.
Power
Generating power takes vast amounts of water for use in virtually every step of the process, from boiler feed systems to cooling condensers and bearings to pollutant scrubbers. Clean water is not just important on the intake, but it is equally essential on discharge. Legislation continues to evolve, tightening restrictions and shifting demand toward zero liquid discharge. That means there’s an increase for innovation in water treatment for the power generation industry.
According to trend analysis, water demand will increase by 55% due to the world’s growing population, while demand for electricity will increase by 45 trillion kWh or approximately 44% more than the 2018 level. That presents a dilemma when power plants depend on water for clean energy generation. The answer is advanced technology combined with expertise to find smarter, cleaner ways to preserve and recycle water to meet power requirements for an increasingly connected, electronic world.
For over 20 years, ClearStream has been an industrial water treatment company offering a single-source, comprehensive water treatment technology platform widely utilized by a variety of industries and applications. We provide solids liquid separation technology to achieve your water treatment goals.

Lithium
The conventional methods of lithium extraction include mining lithium from ore deposits and extracting lithium from brine sources, as well as mining of lithium-bearing clays. These methods have been used for decades and have undergone continuous improvements to increase efficiency, reduce environmental impacts, and enhance the quality of the extracted lithium.
As the anticipated need for domestic lithium resources rises, a number of alternative lithium extraction technologies are also creating interest. These include direct lithium solvent extraction from seawater, and geothermal and oil well brines, as well as mining of lithium-bearing clays.
